All Retro Games ROM Downloader
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
All Retro Games ROM Downloader is built to work without knowing who you are. There is no account, no sign-in, and no profile. This policy describes what the app stores on your device, what it sends over the network, and what third parties are involved — nothing more.
1. No account, no identity
The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or password, and it creates no user account. It has no identity to attach to your activity, and nothing you do in the app is tied to a person — only to the device it runs on.
2. What stays on your device
Everything the app remembers lives on your phone:
- Catalog data — game listings, mirrors and search indexes, stored in an on-device database so browsing and searching work fast.
- Your library — your favorites and your download history, including download status and file locations.
- Settings — your preferences, such as concurrent downloads, Wi-Fi-only mode, automatic extraction, haptics, theme and grid or list view.
- Downloaded files — finished games, copied to your public Downloads folder or a folder you choose. They stay there until you delete them, even if you uninstall the app.
Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes the catalog, library and settings from the device. Files already copied to Downloads are not removed by uninstalling.
3. What leaves your device
When you use a connected feature, the app sends the minimum needed to answer your request:
- Catalog browsing and search fetch listings from the remote catalog source. These requests carry no personal information.
- Downloads fetch game files from the mirror you selected. The mirror sees a normal file-download request.
- Mirror checks probe whether a mirror is reachable before a download starts, so dead links don't waste your time.
As with any internet service, the catalog source and mirrors may log technical details such as your IP address in their own server logs. The app does not send them your identity, because it has none to send. All app traffic uses HTTPS.
4. Advertising
The app is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob — banner ads, rewarded ads you choose to watch, and app-open ads. AdMob is a third-party service: it may collect device identifiers, including the advertising ID, and use them for ad delivery and personalization, subject to Google's own privacy policy and your device's ad settings. You can limit ad personalization in your Android settings at any time.
The app itself does not sell, rent or share personal information with advertisers, because it does not collect any.
5. Analytics and crash reporting
Analytics (Firebase Analytics) and crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics) are wired into the app but are not active in the current release: they only switch on in builds configured with the project's Firebase settings, which the current release does not include. While inactive, no analytics events and no crash reports leave your device.
If a future build enables them, they would report anonymous usage events and crash diagnostics to Firebase. They would not be linked to an account, because the app has no accounts, and they would not include the contents of your downloads.
6. Permissions, and why each one exists
- Internet — to fetch the catalog and download game files.
- Foreground service — to keep the catalog seed and background downloads running, with a visible notification, while the app is in the background.
- Notifications — to tell you about download progress and completion.
The app does not request access to your contacts, photos, location, microphone or camera.
7. Your files and your control
Downloaded games belong to you as files on your device. You can open them in any emulator, move them, back them up, or delete them with any file manager. The app never uploads your downloaded games anywhere, and it never deletes files from your Downloads folder on its own.
8. Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and the app does not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will help remove any on-device data you identify.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects what the app collects or sends, the updated policy will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
10. Contact
